Is it allowing you to and telling you its ok to waste away?
I know that very monster as well.
Dont succumb. You can gather the broken pieces still. Even if it seems impossible to fix, there still is a hope, a way to live with it. Even though you may never be perfect, the pieces can still be put back. Some maybe missing but your still who you are.
Dont lose yourself.
Your all that you have.
Its easier said than done. I know that but I never once said its going to be easy. But whats the point to lose oneself to that inner monster.
I couldnt allow myslef to be lost. That thing wanted to destroy anything, everyone and itself, including me. Dont let it. Its still a struggle to this day, but its a battle worth fighting for.
What would happen … really …. if you lost everything. Stop fighting. Surrender. When everything is lost piece by piece, chunk by chunk, you gain the world. Let it all go! All of it.
I miss who I used to be. Years back, I was relatively easy-going and got along with almost anyone. Over time, pieces of who I was fell away… leaving a skeleton behind.
maybe you never really “had” who you were, but only thought you did. Maybe you were never really who you thought you were. That’s apparently quite common with humans.
