I don’t think I’d qualify as a Buddhist because I don’t have those orange robes you always see Buddhists wearing. There was this Buddhist monk who used to come to my print shop to print posters and stuff and I swear he always wore those orange robes.
Buddhism is based on personal experience, rationalism, practice, morality, and insight. There is no need to propitiate gods or priests, no blind adherence to useless dogmas, rituals, holy books, or myths.
Everyone wants to be Buddhist these days. People believe that Buddhists know things and can make themselves happy. I don’t know how anyone with a serious diagnosed mental disorder can make themselves happy. These new Buddhists aren’t defective, they just need or rather think they need some intervention from something the western world can’t provide. When you think about it, isn’t that what religion is.
The kingdoms of Experience
In the precious wind they rot
While paupers change possessions
Each one wishing for what the other has got
And the princess and the prince
Discuss what’s real and what is not
It doesn’t matter inside the Gates of Eden

well kind of.
a better question should be: any Buddha here?
hahahaah
Why are you asking? You’re either looking for one or wanting to avoid. I’ll never tell. Maybe I am, maybe I’m not.
“I’ll never tell. Maybe I am, maybe I’m not.” If a Randall comments on a post but nobody’s around to read it, did it have any point?
😛

I think Bob Dylan was a buddhist:
