I really just want a friend who understands what it’s like to be depressed and in and out of hospitals. All I want is someone who will make me laugh and comfort me when I cry and who I can do the same for. I want to discuss anime and fandoms and video games and homestuck, and who will chat with me over skype and email and text and tumblr. Is all that too much to ask?

Honestly, the only place I can actually express who I am is online. My “bestfriends” don’t really know how I am. With them, I’m a completely different person. Someone who’s goofy and weird and bubbly. I feel like if I tell them the pain that I feel and sadness too…they wouldn’t even care so I don’t bother as much. I’ve been wanting to talk with someone who can understand too.
That would be awesome… my friends sort of just glorify the whole depression thing so I can’t talk to them either
I’ve wanted to talk to someone that I can relate to also. My “bestfriends” aren’t exactly bestfriends. I can’t be myself around them. If they found out that I’m depressed and such…they would probably just stop hanging out with me. You can vent out on me and vice versa. It would be great to have someone listen and understand.

Sorry about the double posts there. I’m both spectre and Peppermintmint but the first post was pending so I wrote a new one but now it’s posted. I changed nicknames too, haha. My friends hardly (at least from what I think) think about depression so can’t talk to them at all…there won’t be any type of connection with them. :/
My friends treat me like I have no issues and dismiss the whole thing. Whenever I try to talk to it with them they always say that I can’t be as depressed as them
I found this site by accident, but I joined to be a friend to someone who could use one. This website is so bittersweet to me as I can relate to many of the thoughts and feelings of some of you. Well I would love to be friends with you if that is what you need. No walls no judgement ask me anything, my hand is out and willing to help you if you need it.
