There is no such thing as unconditional love, but genuine love exists, its integral components being loyalty, respect etc. I believe most people retain the ability to express and feel genuine love. Go outside, say hi to a stranger, you may be surprised.
The ability to express and feel genuine love makes a person a good person, their morals and actions also being taken into account to determine that. If a person possesses certain qualities that contradict others, their “goodness” can be compromised.
If my eyes can tell me that something is not what i seek, before i ever encounter it, then i don’t need to encounter it. I only need to encounter what i have reason to approach. Everything else is an arbitrary obstacle, and should be avoided for the sake of economy and self-preservation. There is no need to expose myself to excess risk, or waste time on things i can’t identify as potentially gainful. I will only move toward what i want, or toward preventing others from interfering with my pursuits. Anything else is wasted motion, time and energy.
We’re here, wondering the same thing. Unconditional love is possible and real and anyone saying it isn’t is just afraid, unwilling or incapable of it. It is not a popular concept or practice in this day and age but something that some people still choose. Keep faith alive 🙂

its always based on opinion. where is the line that separates the good from the bad?
