A 5.56x45mm SS109 “green-tip” round can and will pierce an old M1 steel helmet at 1100 metres. It’d slice through your noggin like a knife through butter at half that range. The 5.56 is a wounding round however, and is known to tumble at extended ranges. So, instead of slicing, it’ll rip through your head and leave a dirty great big tear where your face used to be.
I always wondered why I’d get yelled at for shooting at the head of my Fig. 11 targets. Hmm.
You know I have been contemplating methods recently and I barely realized just now, that I am of legal age to buy a gun now (after 30 day wait period of course). Hmmmm……
You Spams…I swear, I’d move to the States just so I could buy me an LR-300, an FN-57, a Mossberg 590A1 and…an M9 bayonet. Only because the firearms laws down here are fuckin’ liberal. I wouldn’t even use them on myself, I’d be too busy being a true survivalist out in the boosh.
But California is one of the toughest gun states, and getting a gun is a bit more extensive than say Texas, but nonetheless still accessible.
Yeah I always wanted to get a Mossy 500 or 590A1, and are reasonably priced or an AR15. Its odd that rifles and shotgun are less expensive than handguns for the most part.
God blesses nothing. Humanity is in a miserable state. But besides the fact I have access to over thirty guns and own the know how on how to fail safe kill myself. Yet the way I’m intrigued by a weaponry I would never kill myself with them.
So god bless ******** and metoclopramide. Also fail safe right there and what I’m trying next.
But what’s been up? Why do you have intrusive thoughts of death anyways?
Dang 30 guns! Share the love with Ol’ Shep and me (JK). But I am especially intrigued to why choose others means of suicide if they have access to a firearm? I winder if the guns have sentimental meanings/attachments, are of a favorite hobby/sport, or simply, some respect the very power of the weapon and respect it enough to not end their lives with it.
I recently saw advertised at my local Gun City that a Mossberg 590 Tactical costs $399, whilst a 3rd Gen Glock 17 is upwards of $899. In the right hands, both those weapons would be formidable. I think the case with pistols is that they’re easily concealable and tend to be mimicked quite well (ie imitation firearms) and thus the law here requires (on top of the other strict criteria) that an owner of a pistol MUST be a member of a pistol club.
It makes me laugh how they strictly enforce them, but I would too given the amount of folks in my country who think that shooting others is a past time of sorts. It makes it difficult for true enthusiasts such as myself to get a hold of them by purely legitimate means. Which is a real pity, since I’d gladly spend my money at their store, but…I digress.

Hmmm… duh just answered my own question.
