I do that at least once a week. It’s called Canadian Club with a healthy dose of painkillers. It turns me into a docile idiot and makes me blissfully ignorant to everything and everyone around me.
The concept of happiness is a fairytale that even a child would be foolish to believe in. All one can do is live in the moment as best as they can, and take their pleasures and entertainment wherever they can find it. The answer to life: sating the endless tedious monotony with the temporary diversions of tasks, activities, hobbies, material objects, adventures, food, drink, drugs, sex, travel, music, etc. (Obligations to other people may or may not come into question. Regardless, we’d certainly be bored without the constant surrounding influence and input of other human beings.)

You’ve gotta give it up to get down, my friend 😎
I don’t see why I can’t have both……and chocolate!
I’d prefer a decent assortment of benzodiazepines. Then neither would be of any consequence.

True. Happiness is nothing more than a label placed on an emotion, and it is just about the most subjective term in our vocabulary.
“Why do you sit there and hit yourself in the head with that hammer?”
“Because – it feels so good when I stop.”
Some of us never stop.
Well, attempting suicide can cause brain damage. Maybe you’ll get lucky.
