I would love to be reborn as a hippo, that is my dream. Such majestic creatures they are!
God I wish for reincarnation to exist, but it´s hopeless to dream of such a thing. If it were true then of course; give me an infinite amount of lives and chances to see the world perhaps as an animal, human or even as something as simple – yet important – as a blue flower in a lone and windy mountain.
Life has so much opportunities, and if being reborn, one could assume shapes they´ve never would have imagined of being possible. And have a joy and a laugh while being in this complex rat-race of endless chances.
After all, if all is forever reborn again, then one´s soul is destined to bear at least one life with good fortune and happiness – and that´s worth waiting for.
I want to be reborn as a chimp named Steve who drives a ride-on lawnmower and terrorises unkept lawns. I’ll also work part-time at a local inward/outward goods yard where I operate the fork hoist truck. Lastly, I will be a political correspondent who regularly flings feces at the politicians and is not afraid to ask the questions no one else wants to, with a voice that sounds like Christopher Lee.

This is something that has indeed been tormenting me for quite a long time. What a horror vision – being reborn again and again and again with no possibility to escape apart from perpetually committing suicide just to start all over again.
No, I would never wish to be reborn. I would prefer to become non existence after death.
