The above video uploaded by “Information Overload” portrays a 13 year old female who tags each member of the boy-band One Direction in a Twitter post, threatening to break her dog’s neck if they do not follow her. The pictures used on the account of this girl were used weeks before in another similar post. This “prank” is becoming a trend, apparently. Pictures of cats in blenders, children bound by masking tape, and a dog held at gunpoint. Maybe it’s just me, but this is not a funny joke. Comments? I can have very harsh, very sadistic humor at times, but I have never attempted or staged any of my jokes or pranks. There’s a limit.

Not funny and using peoples photos without their permission isnt funny either
Apparently, the douchebags that post false pictures of killing animals and binding children think it’s totally hilarious.
people will do anything to try and be ‘funny’ now, even if its shit like that. And when others suffer its not funny. These people are not creative at all…
The way the world is fucked up right now nothing really fazes me much.
I get what you’re saying. There’s always some new story about a terrible event. But, you have to think about it, back in the 40’s, everyone thought it was the end of the world and that Jesus was coming back. You never cease to hear about some religious fanatic screaming, “The Lord’s coming soon”, or your average person thinking that the world grows worse with time. I, in my own personal opinion, believe it’s a cycle. There will always be crazy shit, and each generation will never think that the ones before them were thinking and doing the exact same things.
Also, the media never helps. Each year is a new one, each summer a new one, everything is always brand new and unheard of.
What’s so bad with this though? It’s not like they were actually hurting the animals as far as I know.
Was it funny to see a human being PRETENDING to harm an animal, Elcyc?
Also, there was a picture of a child bound by masking tape in the video that someone used as a threat on Twitter. Is that funny, too?
I don’t understand the freaking out over boy bands. Does not compute.
Even if you go back to the Beatles days and watch girls fainting in the audience… i don’t get it.
Do they not know they’re “just another face in the crowd?”
Inevitably what happens is – enough of these gain a sufficient level of “popularity” and next thing there’s an outbreak of REAL ones where animals/children REALLY DO get hurt … and the excuse is always “I didn’t know it was supposed to be fake” … yeah … they’re out there in hoards.
Do you think it’s some coincidence that all of a sudden there are dozens of reports of children being “forgotten” in hot cars? 1 asshole kills his kid and claims he “simply forgot” the kid was there … and 20 more geniuses think they can do the same thing but they “know how” to get away with it.
Sorry – this is revolting even if it’s “pretend”
disgusted dawg
