That’s the key! Live with it. What else is there? If you go looking to fill the emptiness you’ll be disappointed every time. If you can live with the emptiness, accept it then you’ll be happier. If something comes along to fill the void you know that your base is really being empty. So when that “something” that came along to fill you up finally leaves ( it ALWAYS leaves whether it’s a job, money, lover, pet, whatever..) then you’ll be ok with empty. Empty become your natural state. You were born alone and empty and you’ll die alone and empty. All that stuff in between is just entertainment. Ha!! Funny, eh?
How? Well,its ugly…some just kill themselves incrementally with alcohol and drugs…run from person to person using people to soothe the pain..channel it into painting,music,writing -some of which is epic and beautiful,many artists are mentally unbalanced and emotionally disturbed/tortured. Then theres 12 step groups..churches..medicine..therapy.. I have done these things at one time or the other and found temporary solace.Some recovered and stayed well,but im not one of them..Try something,is what I would suggest..Theres a chance of recovering if you are trying..I gave up/am giving up actively until I no longer am obligated to be alive..
