Years of pain. Years of searching. Years of planning even. Now, after years of searching,when I have obtained the requirement for my exit I have been advised that they are changing the law here in relation to Advance Directives. There is now some hope that I can have some say in my exit. Could I ask of those of you from different counties and cultures have Advance Directives or Living wills etc worked. I would also advise all to consider this, even when I could see no hope or alleviation of the pain something happened that even slightly lightened my load.

A living will is merely a document stating that if you become seriously sick the medical staff cannot keep you alive through extreme means. Like a breathing apparatus or heart machine or use of strange drugs. I guess that’s the same for advance directives?
I would like to see Suicide Parlors become popular. Like when you bring your dog to a Vet to have him “put down”. People should have the same option. You shouldn’t have to sneak around, write on suicide websites such as this, get illegal guns or drugs or jump from very high places where they find your smushed mangled body drifting down a river. You shouldn’t have to go through a dozen attempts at suicide to get it right. You’d just go in to the office, sit in a chair, hook you up to a machine and slide peacefully to the clearing at the end of the path. Nice and civilized. Hmmm…
