According to dictionary.com…
Salvation:
1.the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, destruction, etc.
2.the state of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc
3.a source, cause, or means of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc.
Why is always easier to be someone else’s salvation?
Why is it always easier (or is for me, how about you?) to be stronger for other people?

I know exactly what u mean I feel it’s so much easier for me too help my online friends especially my good friend brink of dawn I hope she is ok I don’t want nothing to happen to her she n her sister mean a lot to.me I try to also stay strong for them because I’m always in pain I possibly need surgery done it I were to ever get better
Sorry you are in pain. Hope you get better.
Maybe because we don’t want someone to feel as shitty as we do?
Yeah.
When I try to help my friend Gir (Insecure Wreck), it is because I don’t want him to be sad, but happy. It’s easier to give someone else advice rather than yourself, just as how (I think) it helps more to receive advice from someone else other than yourself.
Thanks (brink of dawn) Ashley I hope u r doing so good n I’m sorry I’m always sad n feeling unhappy hunny love u dear n I hope you are doing ok I hate feeling this way but I know you do too dear but I care so much for u as you do for me I’m trying dear love u I love your help
Sometimes even if we want to get better in general, we don’t actually WANT to get better or do what is necessary to get better because we think we deserve the situation we’re in and we’re so used to depression that we don’t know any different. Helping others kind of fits into this image: If we’re not worth much at least we are worth helping someone else.
It’s some kind of extended self-pity, even though I don’t like calling people that. Concerning salvation for oneself and others I think I act similar to you.
Something to think about. Thanks for the reply.
