During the highest point of my life, about a year ago, I was the same way. Had the world by the balls so to speak, but I was still suicidal, although hardly as much. Some bad news, to put it lightly, rocketed me to my later attempt, but beforehand I was flying mighty high. I really don’t have much in the way of advice to offer. All I can really say is that everyone has one thing that keeps them centered even at their highest moments. You have to figure out what that is to keep that high going, though that’s one of the most difficult things I’ve ever faced. For me personally, it was that even though one day I might achieve some sort of success, my choices from my past will always tarnish my reputation. Again, that’s me, but hopefully it was some sort of help.
You’re really right, it is one of the hardest things to figure out. It’s a journey.
I guess when you look at it overall though, we are probably all going to have “suicidal tendencies” for the rest of our lives. And by “we” I mean you and I, and most other people on SP. It’s just something embedded in our brains I guess.
OK, I am going to tell you. You had some rought times in your life. I dont know how long and I dont know exactly how deep your sorry was but you just got it into your mind that there was no hope for you (I have been there too) and you started to get contemplate suicide. So it got into your thinking and eventually it was on your mind and it maybe even got to point where thinking abouth suicide became like a pattern and also part of your personality.
BUT now things have changed. You need to change the pttern of your thinking. You need to change your atitude. Your life has turned around. Be happy about it. Life is giving you a seond chance to have a good life and have hapiness and achieveents. Focus on them.
Focus on the new opportuities. When you think about it. Its like you have been born again with new opportunities. make use of them depression is behind you > the hardest part of your life is behing you start looking to the best that is going to come. You need shift in mindset.
Tell yourself everyday I am born again with new opportunities and I am going to make the best of them and overcom.

I know what u mean. Mylife is “perfect” and yet I want a way out.
Same here. Sometimes the mind makes no sense….
My mind is like a puzzle and someone has come and cut the pieces so they don’t fit together anymore.

Old feelings stuck in a new situation. Perhaps your new life direction hasn’t had the time to change your past feelings.
Congratulations on having positivity in your life and things changing for the better. I truly hope it stays that way for you.
Thank you so much. <3

Thanks man. Means a lot that you’ve given me some really constructive advice. <3
Same. I’m just trying to get through the day.
Because old habits die hard. I’m in the same boat, but suicide is quite simply no longer an option.
