Yeah, love can be a lifesaver. It also works really well in combination with loneliness, mood swings and chronic depression, if you know what I mean.
I say: Solitarians of all countries, unite! We no longer accept this privilege of emotion for the socially wealthy. Abolish love! For we’ve lived under it’s cruel oppression for too long!
Ah love…in my experience it’s an excuse to treat someone bad. Love should be about putting one’s best foot forward but I’ve not seen that myself. Trouble is is that love, loyalty and trust is the last bastion of the scoundrel. What that means is that love and loyalty is used as an excuse to treat someone poorly (and they’ll stay as a result) and abusers rely on that to get their way. Respect is the basis of every human interaction, without it nothing survives. So respect first and everything else later. Love, in my opinion, is well below respect, trust and loyalty which need to be earnt.
