I have once basically the same article but it was about happy people, there was a project in school where we had to write about how we really feel. I was literally just copying shit haha
My problem with that article is that it assumes we all live relatively normal lives, so it only applies to people without real threats and traumas to deal with. If someone tells me they got raped by their father when they were a kid (which I’ve heard way too often here), or that their husband/wife of 30 years just died or left, or that kids in school are yelling insults every single day, there’s no way I could ever tell them “1. Life isn’t hard” or “2. Trust people” or “3. Don’t think about what’s wrong” etc.
That advice is good for normal people who don’t know why they’re unhappy. But for those of us who are suffering through some horrible, *real* torture every day, I guess we’re just shit outta luck.
