I guess we will never know for sure, but that’s what the french police is saying. It seems that he blocked the door intentionally and made the plane go down.
What we will never know is what was going on in his mind so… yep, just thinking.
Yes – they know for sure the crash was intentional … this is not just “musing”, it is fact. The question “why?” is the part that may never be known … but the fact is, he DID do it intentionally.
I’m hard pressed to find any personal life situation that justifies mass murder – If one want’s to end their life, I’m good with that. I think people should have that right to make that choice. But to commit mass murder does nothing to change a person’s life situation or “make up” for past grievances. Any sympathy, empathy and/or concern for the situation that brings a person to choose to end their life will be overshadowed and minimized (probably to the point of non-existence). Instead of being a “victim” of the ills of society, he will forever be known as a cold blooded murderer that doesn’t belong in society.
Bottom line – under NO circumstances should anyone be physically hurt or killed by the decision of a person to end their life.
I couldn’t agree with you more. He is a cold blooded murderer. I believe everyone has the right to end their own life, but this isn’t about him ending his life. He’s no different than someone who murders 150 people and then is shot by police at the end. It makes no difference that he died in the crash. I can’t even imagine the pain he has created through this act for the grieving families.
This has also happened before. I don’t recall the airline now, but it happened a few years back where a pilot did the same thing on another major airline. In that case, the co-pilot was in the cabin and was trying to stop the dive that the pilot had already started.
There’s so many things about it, I don’t know i have so many doubts. When you don’t want to live anymore, you make a decision yourself. When you want to end your life, it’s your choice. It’s your life. Suicide is something personal. In this case he acted for everyone against their will. It wasn’t their choice. So it’s not longer about himself but about everyone else on that plane. And I agreed with Dawg, He will always be known as a murderer. It’s sad.
I totally agree, this is probably one of the few suicides that could be described as selfish.
Surely a pilot in his position, it wouldn’t have been that difficult to hire a light aircraft for the afternoon and crash it with just him on board.
No need for so many people to suffer…
I’m so livid right now. Losers like that give suicidal people a bad name. I’m serious. Now we’re lumped in the same class as mass murderers, like the Columbine dipshits and the Atlanta day trader and all those slime buckets who can’t simply take their own life because mommy & daddy didn’t give them enough love or whatever. More than ever I just want to get out of this fucked up world BY MYSELF.
You’re absolutely correct! It really screws those that quietly want to privately make their own decision about their lives – now anyone who even mentions suicide will be viewed as someone SO unstable that they’ll kill and maim any number of people to achieve their goals. Of course WE know this is the furthest thing from the truth. Folks here don’t want to include ANYONE in any way in their decision and act.
It’s no wonder why when “they” hear the word “suicide” they lock us up and throw away the key (which, of course, actually makes our lives worse),
imagine all those innocent people screaming and crying as it went down… the terror they felt, the knowledge that they were going to die… if only he was alive and I could get my hands on him I would enjoy picking his organs out one by one.

Is that what it was? Was he committing suicide or are you just musing about it?

That is beyond messed up, I can’t even comprehend the magnitude of that act. reading about it crushed the breath out of me it was so horrible, my god
Was he involved in a terrorist group? Perhaps this was a way to stealthily assassinate certain influential passengers?
They’ve already established that there hasn’t been any link found between this incident and terrorism
