I knew a girl who tried to OD on a huge amount of painkillers. We took her to hospital and she had bloods done and her stomach pumped. She had to return every three months to check the condition of her liver and kidneys which were now going to fail on her. She slowly died as her organs gave up and after so long, didnt want to die anymore.
