I currently weigh 150 pounds . I don’t eat some days just to get my weight down . And when I do eat I count the calories .. Does it have to be so hard ? I want to cut all the fat off my body … And see my bones and collarbones and my hips.. I don’t want my stomach to fold when I sit down.. Or people to call me fat any more. I don’t love my life, I don’t love my body, I don’t love myself… When are things gonna get better?

That’s going to backfire on you. If you’re looking for weight loss use a sensible approach that in the end will be more effective, doesn’t ruin your health and will in the long run give you better results.
Plus if you’re 150 lbs that’s not too much, depending on your height. I’m guessing you probably need to lose 30-40lbs…like me (I’m a guy). You can safely lose 2 lbs per week so 8 lbs a month and in about 6 mths you’ll be at your ideal weight.
I’m where you are also….I used to be fit, but it’s been very difficult for me to get back into the gym, but I’m hoping to do that this year and return to my old true self. It’ll make an incredible difference in my life…right now I look terrible in pictures because of being overweight. It’s just not who I was….I used to be well-built in my 20s.
You could consider medically supervised weight loss also there are many ways to reach your goal, but include both diet and exercise to speed things up.
Darling, you can get better. Start doing cardio exercises 4 times a week. Don’t stop eating. It’s horribly unhealthy. After one month I can see results on myself.
You are not alone. I hate me too. When a person feels that pain, it comes out in many ways. For me, it is eating too much, esp. sweets. I hate me when I do it, so it releases the pain I am feeling. Not for long because I have eat more and more…
When you feel the urge to lose the weight (that I doubt you need to lose much of, honestly), it is to deal with your pain of hating yourself. That pain came because of life experiences that taught you that you were unworthy and you had to fix it. And so, you want to get rid of fat, when we do need fat in our diet and on our bodies.
(((((hugs)))))
Search for ways to help you… search for books/ internet for eating disorders.
Again, you are not alone. Search for what you need and never give up.
There is a book that deals with a young girl’s eating disorder… Elena Vanishing by Elena Dunkle and her mother, Clare Dunkle. It may be in your library or on Amazon. It might be worth looking for.
I agree there are healthier ways to lose weight, but I understand the desperation you feel. I’m dealing with an eating disorder, I’ve always get close to underweight and then I go to binging and purging and gain all the lost weight back. I believe this has caused my hair to fall out and I’m tired all the time. It’s an endless cycle, the obsession is awful. 🙁
I want you to know you’re not alone in this struggle, low self-esteem comes with the depression and you have to slowly learn to love yourself. Try to eat something healthy, not eating will only make you feel worse. Also, you can try to go out and take walks and enjoy nature a bit. That sometimes helps me. I’m here if you ever need to talk.
