All who are thinking about suicide as an answer…. before you have your attempt at it please do yourself a favor and get the book “The Reason” by Lacey Sturm. It may help you find perspective.

Wow, wasn’t she the lead singer from Flyleaf? That brings back memories. I’m unsure how it would change my perspective, but I’ll check it out once I get the chance. I just hope it’s not one of those “I was depressed/suicidal once but now am a happy Christian” memoirs. ‘Cause y’know they were kind of a Christian band. Most mainstream bands are nowadays, no matter how much they try to deny it.
It’s been my experience that reading a book can bring some valuable insight. Who knows, it could tip the scales towards living. I’ll check it out.
All I will say is it helped me. Lacey is a no b.s. type of person. She doesn’t fluff stuff up. She truely speaks from the heart.
