Thank you guys. I just feel so lost and stressed. My depression and low self esteem get in the way of everything and I just want everything to go away.
If you have some decent friends it might help to get out and just have some fun. Though I was having a good time, ironically later I felt worse, only because I’m single and missing out on dating beautiful girls if I could get them.
Still I’m better than before-when you’re depressed, you need to do something ‘active’ to shake yourself out of your depression. While I like this site/people here, sometimes I feel worse coming here because I might be a good mood, but then I get reminded of the times I feel down/suicidal. Though I’m just learning to manage it and not get emotional about it.
I find that mindless distractions or the complete opposite (something that requires your entire attention) works better to somehow mitigate (even if just a bit) the bad feelings. About feeling lost… that usually means you might want to look into doing something to take up your time, or find a meaning, or whatever… like TheLoner2 says looking for help is good too.
Try to watch a good movie no matter how depressed you are. And don’t forget to go for a walk outdoors even if you don’t have any friends. You can also tell us more about you.

You may think you are the only person that has issues with their alcoholic circus performer parents and evil stepbrother building a death ray and a flaky best friend that claims he is a time traveller from ancient Sparta, but in reality there are like 5 other people here with the same story.
