Here are a few good movies:
The Amityville Horror
Halloween
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Night of the Living Dead
Poltergeist
Scream
Trick ‘R Treat
For comedy, of course, there’s Ghostbusters.
The Haunting 1963
Rosemary’s Baby 1968
The Uninvited 1944
Halloween 1978
What Lies Beneath
Dark Night of the Scarecrow
Dog Soldiers
The Skeleton Key
The Innocents 1961
The Amityville Horror 1979
Donnie Darko
Kwaidan
Hocus Pocus
Since you didn’t specify horror movies or movies that have a Halloween theme, I included both.
I love Halloween too!
My favourite is Poltergeist, with Ghostbusters a close 2nd.
RemiBee,
Halloween!!! oF couse!!!!! good old Michael Myers! THAT SON OF A GUN!!! Kills me!! 🙂 The old not the new!
Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Shaun of the Dead
With all the mentions of Ghostbusters, I wanna watch that again too.
It’s not technically a Halloween movie, but it’s a comedy horror about vampires, so – What We Do in the Shadows.
If you feel like making a trip to the cinema, the new comedy horror Goosebumps is pretty good. It’s funny and creepy.
raza,
Clearly you like comedy! So do I!! 🙂
Yep, haha. I don’t watch a lot of full out horror films, I prefer if they can make me laugh.
raza,
How about mel brooks Young Frankenstein haha I love the blind man pouring the soup!!! And lighting the cigar!!! He couldn’t wait to get the hell away from him 🙂
I haven’t seen that yet but it’s on my watchlist, maybe I can get around to it for this Halloween season. 😛 Mel Brooks is good.
