I remember being 16 and at a party thinking, “My 21st birthday is so far away.” My 21st is just around the corner now. I know I’m not old, but my god what the fuck am I doing..
Time will seem to move faster as you get older too. Me I just had my 43 birthday not to long ago and it seems like some of the years have really zipped by.
I know exactly what you mean buddy, time sure fly’s by real quick without you really noticing. It seems like it was only yesterday that I turned 16 years old and now I’m 21 years old.
Like Trix and Phantom said, time really does fly, even if paradoxically, it feels like we’re stuck in a eternity of suffering each day. At 21, you’re not really expected to know what you’re doing I think. Most people just flounder about until they discover something that they feel they want to focus on. But I hear you, I feel the same way. I just graduated from Uni and am currently completely lost both in work life, and in social life so no worries, you’re not alone .
When I was 16 I was pretty sure I wouldn’t see 21. At 21 I was pretty sure I wouldn’t see 30. At thirty I finally was diagnosed and started taking medicine. I had the first sane year of my entire life. At thirty I was sure I would see 47. Keep moving forward. I’m not going to say something pithy like it gets better, but for me it just got saner.
What the fuck am I doing? Existing… When I was younger i thought i would have a great life. But back then I did not know how cold, harsh cruel and horrible society was. I’m 22 now and time is going so quick.

I know the feeling. It could be a good thing if it motivates you to do something, but usually it just makes me panic.

There are never enough hours in the day. I don’t like time or dates.
