…from my therapists and I. Mr. Charlie Chow Mein and his slaves um I mean associates Finnegan and Allie Oop-Boop had to be bribed to sit on Santa’s knee. I don’t blame them, I’d require a bribe too. Anyways, hoping the pic made a few of you smile.
Fat-Fat… reminds me of someone I know who calls Charlie, Fatty Fatkins. I’d get offended on Charlies behalf but he can take care of himself. He likes to sneak up on this person and attack the back of their legs….for such a huge cat he is surprisingly stealthy. He also tried laying on the back of my friends head, pushing his face into a pillow. He swears Charlie was trying to kill him. But he always buys Charlie a xmas gift so there must be some affection. Or wait, maybe it’s bribery.
I can’t recall if I ever said why I named him that…I took him in when he was just under 5 weeks old (he had been the runt and he now weighs 29 pounds at last vet visit). I named him Charlie. Like most littens he was trouble….climbing curtains, clawing furniture, knocking over breakables, harrassing other pets, etc. And I found myself often half heartedly mumbling about turning him into kitty chow mein. Somehow it became part of his name. Ironically, he also loves eating chow mein. And chips, and crackers, and cookies…pretty much anything.
