I was bullied since elementary school, because im ugly,i’ve got a big nose and people make fun of it and I really hate it. I wanted to get a job so I could have a rhino plasty, but I didn’t get the job I wanted and other jobs are not really fit for me. All of my friends have a good life, have boyfriends and I got nothing, only my big nose. I hate myself and I feel like im not worth it. I feel like I can’t do this anymore, I tried to talk to my sister about rhino plasty but she said I souldn’t care what other people think. She can’t understand it because she has a normal life and boyfriend…

Based on your post – it seems you hate your nose more that “yourself” … this is an important distinction. Your nose is NOT the totality of your whole being. You reference “all your friends have blah blah etc” … trust me on this – their situations will change and a few of them are hiding an an embarrassing dark truth that they’d absolutely “die” if it became public – no relationship is the perfect picture that the public sees.
You have a plan for changing your nose – this is good – you have a goal. Now your focus should be to make that goal a reality – until then, work on the requirements to get the job you want. Jobs change, requirements change, work on the things that will make you a better candidate for that job next time … in the mean time, focus on making the rest of you a great and honorable social person that people enjoy being around, eventually the right person will come along and see your nose as a unique and endearing feature. But don’t worry about what others think … what they “think” is their problem, not yours”
Karl Malden made a damn good career out of his big unique nose 🙂

Dude, life is too f***ing short to focus on your nose.
F*** your nose, seriously. You could be spending your time SO much better on other stuff. Like your strengths, what you are good at, your best features.
We all have weaknesses, even massive celebrities probably have something that absolutely sucks about them, but they didn’t build their life around that, because that would be stupid.

Zeline I am sure your nose is fine. Nobody is perfect. We all have flaws. Your sister is right. You shouldn’t give a damn what other people say. You will have a normal life, a boyfriend, a job and you won’t think about your appearance anymore.
Ok, this is my take on this as an artist. The things that make you different from other people are part of what make you beautiful. For example, Barbara Streisand has a very distinct nose and yet she is still beautiful. However, if you truly do not like your nose, maybe you could make yourself feel better about it by using makeup. I took a drama class and if you wanted it to look thinner you could shade it in such a way with makeup it would look thinner. Plus, with makeup you could put emphasis on your eyes or lips which would draw them away from your nose when they look at you. I don’t think you should change a thing but if it truly upsets you that much I understand wanting to change it or looking for solutions to feel more secure in yourself.
