From experience, I’d recommend you make up your mind before hand. Either don’t try anything at all, or go all the way.
Half-assing it will definately:
1) Screw up your organs
2) Freak you out
Or 3) a little bit of both
A few weeks back I decided to take a bunch of my Tramadol. Stopped after only taking a few, and holy crap. Would not recommend it. Got super stoned. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not used to Opiods or what, but when it kicked in everytime I blinked it felt like the room was spinning. I had to literally prop myself up in the corner on my bed just to stop my head from lolling. I would be looking at my phone and then suddenly I’d be waking up. What weirded me out was not being able to pee. Like, I wasn’t able to go, I had to go, but it was like my brain wouldn’t let me. When it wore off, I puked a few times an hour for almost 2days. I actually slept in the bathroom so I wouldn’t have to get up everytime. At least I know exactly how much I need now. But anyway people, have a firm decision before hand so you don’t fuck up your organs like me

Yeah don’t fail your suicide attempt because you will end up highly traumatized.
Most people under do it. I however wasn’t one of those people. I rolled out to the middle of nowhere with 60 trazadone pills (6000 mgs). Obviously I’m still here, I didn’t do it. Since then a small amount of research has told me that I would’ve indeed been successful. It takes a lot to overdose oneself to death, and that’s because drug companies have been sued into changing formulas (especially sleeping pills) so that intentional overdose is harder.
that sounds awful.. thanks for the advise.
Overdosing seems really not working most of the time.
Your right. Its actually easy to screw up on a suicide attempt. It takes a lot of planning and determination to get it done right.
I agree that if you half ass it you can mess yourself up and have to live with damage to your body and its not good.
I agree dont half ass suicide, if someone is goin to do it then “commit” to it
First, I have to ask why you think you screwed up your internal organs? Don’t assume that unless a doctor has confirmed it. Some people believe that all failed medication overdoses result in damage, but that is absolutely not true.
I agree with you that is definitely a good idea to do very thorough research and know exactly what you need to do. I get the impression that a lot of people don’t do research, and then out of desperation simply grab whatever is available (I’m not saying you did this).
“Grabbing what ever is available…” I think maybe in the moment that’s how it works too. That’s why the removal of meds and weapons is highly suggested by the healthcare professionals.
I keep my weapon on the nightstand right next to a glass of water and my pain meds. In the darkness and loneliness of the night they are both so tempting.
“That’s why the removal of meds and weapons is highly suggested by the healthcare professionals.”
True, it is. That policy infuriates me.
I could use some tramadol atm. I just know lethal methods are the best methods. Suicidal gestures are where attempters fail because like some have said life is worse if one survives it. It’s not only physical but those around you will never treat you the same.
