Happy little poem for rocketman

He’s a Rocketman, and he’s up there all alone…. But at least he’s higher than a kite 😛

Let’s look up and watch the stars

Let’s forget about our scars

Let’s hug under the moon light

Let’s be happy let’s ignite

Negative feelings just like trash

Watch them burn melt to ash

It may free our souls at last

Recover from pain that’s passed

Let’s lay down on the grass

Let’s forget let’s bypass

Sorrow and misery

Make this world glittery

If we treat others lovingly

Our world may change suddenly

Some more hugging while smiling

And pain will stop compiling

Our love will fix everything

Care for others like a sapling

Shower them with some love

Watch them grow, reaching far above

Their goals, thanks to some nurturing

Just some hugs and encouraging

Pushes them towards mastering

Their skills, it is life altering

They’ve grown to be massive trees

Strong and solid with the means

To carry on when it’s dark

Not letting things chip their bark

Hate will never fill their hearts

Their dreams are just like the stars

Out of reach and infinite

But they’ll touch them, that’s definite

I don’t like the last 4 or so lines that much, and I don’t like rhyming trees and means…. Like it does work with some creative pronunciation…. But I hope that’s happy enough for you Mr. Rocketman ^_^ That’s about as happy as I get…. And yes I know I’ve posted two poems in a row, but I promised…. And I write at least one poem every day, lately it has been more around 4 or so per day for the last week or so :/ I want to get better…. I hope you like it Mr. Rocketman.
