I don’t want you to be good. Nice. Rich. Famous. Law-abiding. Loveable. Acceptable. Social. Decent. Normal.
I don’t want you to be miserable.
I want you to be okay.
Don’t waste your life chasing Numbers on a Bank account.
Don’t waste your life trying to be a ”productive Member” of a destructive society.Don’t waste your life as a slave to any rules some other flawed being came up with.
Don’t waste your life trying to be another one of those bland, submissive, bored and fearful ‘normal people’.
Cause even the most odd and crazy suicidal maniac is more sane and reasonable than a someone who works for a company they don’t care for, supporting assholes who destroy the planet and its inhabitants just so they have enough of some made-up currency that could become worthless overnight because of things they can’t influence or control in any way, while blindly following rules made up by people who don’t care about the well-being of individuals, animals or the planet as long as their holy economy is running.
I hope this helps anyone who feels bad about not giving in to peer pressure from those madmen who claim to be the ‘normal, good people’.

…just as well my comment got erased.
but before you want to go lumping any one who works a job like you mentioned, or someone who seems to fit that us-v.-them standard of ‘normal’, and looking down your nose at them,
maybe take a minute or two and think about the kind of life you’re living, and who’s paying for it, and how. see where that rabbit hole leads in more than just general terms, look at the people as more than faceless mindless constructs to why they (and you) live like they do, see if you can come up with actionable, reasonable alternatives (and, beyond the name of this site), and then maybe talk. but don’t act like you’re better than someone else just because you have “something” figured out, conveyed with gaping generalizations.
it’s a decent intent to have, but surprise surprise, this isn’t a land of infinite choices, and some have a helluva lot less than others.
..i’ll leave it at that.
Every accusation can be used against you as well.
fine, i’m calling him an idiot and an unmindful slave without knowing one shred about his life story who he is or who he has to support. it’s better for everyone to just quit their jobs be homeless and get sick and die, better than support any job that could pay enough for themselves and their family, housing and food or any fucking medicine.
clearly, ‘the most crazy suicidal maniac’ is infinitely more preferable, even if said individual only decides to kill himself after doing a bunch of fucked ip shit to other people and even animals.
my bad.
oh, and for that non existent, non fucking important record, i already know any sense of entitlement i may have is entirely unfounded. i’ve had similar thoughts to the OP, but as i don’t have a decent fucking counter i keep my mouth shut and don’t judge people, especially unilaterally. just because they do what the fuck they have to to het by in this stupid fucking place.
and if cursing ruins any fucking logical argument i have heaere, fine. none of it fiucking matteres anywayt.
ugh. shouldn’t have used that tone..
sorry, oqoobo.

The only thing I left out in my previous comment was fuck, so I’m adding that in for fuck’s sake.

I kind of like this post. It shows me that if I die I’ll leave behind all these things that people try to force on us. Thank you.
So are you saying I should quit my job and move into a cardboard box under a baobab tree? Because that does sound tempting.
the world is a big crazy place but we can do what we can to help whats going on around us. i really hope you don’t give up. even on some of the bad people.
I feel you’re right about some things. There’s no imperative to be the best, the brightest and the most popular. There’s no point chasing money or giving away your power. A lot of the rest are just practical compromise like paying for food, rent, modern conveniences like roads & utilities. I don’t know how this world came to be the way it is. Everything already existed before I came along.
Yeah, either you support your own way in life (and there are a million kinds of “alternative” ways to support yourself), or you rely on the charity of other people. Despite how much I dislike the first world’s mainstream societal expectations, I don’t want to rely on the generosity of other people for the rest of my life. (Or that of taxpayers.)
So no, the answer is not to become a homeless beggar, because then someone else will have to pay for your existence. That’s not independence. Instead, one should find a job, or series of jobs, or a livelihood (like selling things) that you can tolerate, and make enough money to provide for yourself and your family and/or your pets, if you have them.
If you dislike money, find some kind of anti-money community that trades goods and services instead of handing out cash. Those exist, somewhere out there.
Here’s a “no money, off the grid island community”: http:// www. wakingtimes.com/2015/03/09/no-electricty-no-money-island-community-a-true-example-of-off-grid-living/ (paste and remove spaces)
