I like the idea of setting a date. It definitely puts things in perspective, gives you something to look forward to, and gives you a time table to work with, so you can get your final affairs in order. I, for instance, in the past, would plan a trip somewhere, days before my planned final transition. One last hurrah, so to speak. A trip to a place I’d never been to, so I could clear my mind and be at peace when the final moment came.
I am pretty sure I would procrastinate….even with my suicide. I’d set a date and sure as hell that date would come and I’d be the one saying, ” ugggggh. I’ll do it tomorrow.” 🙂

Good luck to you.
