YES, I did run away from my family and my hometown and everything that I knew up to that point some years ago.
It was a wild adventure and one of the BEST things I have ever done in life
I got a fresh start in a new place and came to find myself in life
I learned a lot about life and how to make it in the real world without anybody to help me. So Well I can say… it was awesome and my life turned around for the better and I have many great memories of my life doing that
now if you want to chat by email in detail… I can talk to you and give you all sorts of tips and tricks you can apply so that you can make it happen.

I don’t know if you’re an adult or not, but if you aren’t then I would recommend you to reconsider this decision.
Think about it… where will you sleep? Outside? In a hotel?
Well, you did say that you have some money, but what if you run out of money?
What about food or water?
If you are an adult, then I won’t try to stop you.
The police found me frozen and unconscious on the side of the highway when I was 11. My poor dog was an insufficient heater.
I was trying to walk from Memphis to Indianapolis to find my mom. I thought I was traveling north, I was actually going east. I didn’t even make it out of the city limits.
People would stop and try to talk to me. I ran away every time.
What set this off was my dad wouldn’t let me watch TV one weekend because I didn’t do my chores.
Pretty weaksauce, but, in retrospect, there are lots of reasons kids run that turn out to be rather lame. I’m not judging you here – just an observation.
If you are being abused call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453 before you try running.

you keep recommending this to a 14yo, and this i detest beyond words, it’s not the same as an adventure for more grown people.
