There’s a social event at church tonight (no, you’re not required to be a believer to attend) featuring good food and nice people.
Yet I am filled with thoughts that condemn me and strap me up like a boot from head to feet.
“You won’t be able to respond appropriately.” “You look so tired even with makeup on.” “You may look less tired with makeup on, but you can’t hide what you really feel.” “You are feeling irritable and you’ll just be a negative presence.” “The guy who was really nice to you? You won’t be attracted to him and he won’t be attracted to you. It’s futile.” “Who do you think you are? What will you do when you want to run from the place?”
“Should I go regardless of all these thoughts?”
Time ticks away. I feel hardly a tickle as I sit here, the universe spinning at unimaginable speeds with no going back and 2 more minutes have passed and should I go? Should I go? Why shouldn’t I go?
It would be easier to stay here. Alone.
It would be easier.

You should absolutely go. You never know, you may enjoy it.
I’ll settle for a hot shower and tea.
But I’ll absolutely go next time. Who knows, I may enjoy it.
might be easier,
-but would it be better for you?
sometimes things we want or like makes us a bit anxious, uneven, but if they are good for us, it’s not bad to try and push through it
for me right now, i feel a week of peace, quiet and calm is what’s best for me, so I decided to do just that, and for the first time in a while, i’m not that sad about staying home on a another friday, this time, i’m actually enjoying it a bit
don’t end up a prisoner of your mind, sometimes breaking free ain’t half bad, but you probably know best, what’s best for you, if you look deep enough.
You’re right. I should look deeper than the surface.
Meditation here I come.
Do you want to go?
Do you think that you’ll have fun there?
If you want to go than go, but if you don’t want to than you shouldn’t go..
If you’re scared to go than why don’t you try something that’s easier for you?
Anyways, I wouldn’t have gone if I was you..
Not because I don’t want to, but because I would be too scared :/
So please do what you think is the best for you, and if you’re scared than I would recommend doing something that’s easier for you..
But I’m not really allowed to say these things I guess
I lock myself up in the house after all
1) You might meet someone creepy but innocent.
2) God may finally tell you what the fuck is going on.
3) Spike the punch.
4) Homicidal Dump supporters may kill everyone there.
5) Doing the hard things makes the next hard thing easier.
6) Watch for people who look tireder than you.
7) If you stay at home and don’t feel well it’s your fault. If you go and don’t have a good time then it’s their fault. Always blame the church, I say.
8) Three words: Free Communion Wafers!
“8) Three words: Free Communion Wafers!” -SOLD!
All of these are gold but (6) is a good motivator for going next time!
Go, you don’t know what didn’t happen
I would not go. But then my decision making is generally terrible. So therefore logically yes, you should go. Do as I say, not as I do!
Ignore thoughts about what to say or how you look, and just enjoy being around nice people, and eating nice food.
If you don’t go this time, what stops you from saying “i’ll go next time” next time? i’d say the prime reason to go is to overcome your thoughts about everything failing or you not being able to doing fine over there (which is just your mind playing tricks on you). I’m saying that because… well i deal with this sort of thoughts daily and forcing myself to do things and failing at them is a hell of a lot better than dealing with the “what ifs”. Sometimes you get good surprises and a good time, sometimes you get nothing, but at least you’re rid of those awful “what ifs”. So yeah, i’d say go.
A minor good point… Tonight would be the best time to talk to strangers about the horror that is Trump and moan about how there is no safe place to flee Brexit.
LOL. I’m not interested in politics that much (i barely know something about it) but from the looks of it hillary was as bad as trump. Might be awfully wrong on that one but it just reminds me of a south park episode where they get two choices: a giant douche and a shit sandwich… and someone says it’s those same two choices on every single election, lol.
I completely argee. When the evil and the lesser evil become so close to each other, shit like this happens. I’m all about mitigating damage now.
The funniest thing is that your election with trump and clinton wasn’t all that different from what we had a few years back over here. We had the choice of bachelete and piñera. Bachelet is the daughter of an army chief and is your typical smiley but blatantly fake candidate. On the other hand, piñera is one of the biggest bussiness man in the country.
First they chose bachelet. She trashed the economy to ridiculous levels, lied to people blatantly and then got away with it. Heck, she even advocated against building some thermoelectric plants and she allowed several to be build a few months before her period ended. Then she left the country and went to work for UN or something. And i’m not even mentioning she withheld information about the 2010 earthquake, and i’m guessing people died because of that.
Then they chose piñera. He made it easier for business to expand, lowered their costs, etc, but wasn’t devoid of screw ups. I was at the lowest of my depression then so i don’t remember details, so take that with a grain of salt. Even then, i’d say he did a better job, but not a good president by a long shot.
So, what happened afterwards? people elected bachelet again. That’s what happens when you have no good alternate choices and most of the population is either gullible people, or just care so much to see a woman in power that they vote blindly. I have no problem with a female president, but i do have a problem when said president destroys the economy and lies to people in their faces.
I guess that what i’m saying is: +1 on mitigating damage, lol.
Santo la mierda!
