The worst part is knowing that I’ll never get better. I will always, always, always be crazy. And knowing that, what other choice do I have but to despise myself?
“Don’t let your diagnosis define you.” I’ve heard that a lot from therapists. But it makes absolutely no sense to me. Your diagnosis is you. Or, more accurately, your brain is you. You are your brain. And if my brain is garbage, then guess what that makes me? Exactly.
My diagnosis does define me. I don’t have an illness, I am an illness.

You’re definitely crazy. So what. Many people are, don’t let that stop you from living a full and productive life.
Look around you. Do you think the people you encounter everyday are sane? Does their insanity prevent them from living their lives?
No. Just do your thing.
Live long & prosper.
I don’t think I’m crazy, but I do feel like doing crazy things sometimes. Nothing violent or anything, just doing a shit in the middle of the street and watching peoples reactions or running along the street naked or something. Just sticking two fingers up to normal behaviour.
Wait a minute, maybe I am crazy, get me to the mental ward!!
What Morris said, but double it. SCREW the crackpot experts and therapists. Be you and f**k them. Look around at this world. Read the headlines. Turn on the news for 1 minute. There’s plenty of crazy out there. You’re crazy because some twit with a diploma on their wall says you meet the criteria for crazy? Tell them to go suck eggs!
You know the most fucked up people I know are social workers and physchritis ( however the fuck you spell that) but seriously absolutely everyone on the planet is crazy and screwed in some form or the other.
Yeah embrace your crazy whiskers who knows you could be a millionaire for being so 🙂
My personal theory is that people are drawn to study psychology because they want to learn whats wrong with them, and figure out how to solve their own crazy issues. So yea i would totally believe that the doctors of psychology are actually the most fucked up of us all lol
“Don’t let your diagnosis define you.” Meanwhile, the more diagnoses you have, the more they can bill the insurance company.
You just took the words right out if my mouth.
Amen.
hey kitty fish…. Yeah it sort of literally is a thing used to describe you -_-
Anyway how has kitty fish been? O.o
Your brain’s not garbage. Parts of it are just conflicting with the rest. That doesn’t mean the rest is worthless. You are not those parts that cause issues – you’ve said you experience them as voices in your head, demanding you do things you don’t want to. So your issues are not you, by definition – they are something you are trying to cope with.
