If you tell a Dr in the UK you’re actively planning suicide, can they tell people without your consent if you’re an adult? More importantly If you carry out said suicide attempt, and get hospitalized can the hospital inform my family without my consent?

If you tell them that you actively planning your suicide they will put you in the psych ward. They would consider you as an immediate threat yourself. Hence take precautions. (unless the dr. Does not care for you)
And if you are 18 and up they won’t tell them unless they already have the number from someone from your Family ?
I’ve been in hospital before but not for a few years, I was a minor then, I just dont want my family to know if I fail. I dont want them to be on edge around me again. Its the worst part of a failed attempt
