I can relate to this. I love sad songs.
In fact i have just given this one a go. Twice lol
I can’t relate to some of the things she’s saying but hey im a bloke. But i must say i really like the background instrumental, very melacholy, my type of thing.
What made you stop listening to music? I stopped listening to music by choice, as an experiment, because, I was always listening to it, 24/7. Literally. From the time I got up, all day, and then I’d listen to it as I went to sleep. I’m still running the experiment however. It’s been about a month.
I have a liking for sad songs too, but I realized that sadness really does have an addictive quality, and if you really want to be happy, I think you have to let go of anything/anyone that’s bringing you down. I listened to a lot of sad music, and when I wiped out every sad song from my playlist, even if it just sounded sad. I noticed a difference in how I felt. I replaced the sad songs with chill music and started listening to more music with high energy. The music doesn’t have to be happy, but sad/depressing music will definitely keep you down. I think music affects us far more than we realize!
