Rich and fame brings more problems into mental health area.
Rich makes hard to make real friendship and relationship
fame brings much attention and expectation, it makes it hard to find peace and quiet,
Anyway, if fame and money is what you are striving for to escape your problems you are going the wrong way, try to find another path.
That is not the solution to the problems, shown by famous suicides.
At the end of the day, people are people we are all human beings, no amount of money or fame will be able to save you from your mind.
Everyone suffers…
Don’t be ignorant to the fact that his life was far from perfect
I’d rather suffer from having to much money then suffer from having to little. Because trust me, whatever problems having money causes I can guarantee not having money is far, far worse.
The guy was having mental problems since he was young when he was molested by an older friend. Look it up, he was already miserable and suicidal. Not being able to deal with his abuser is what led him to kill himself. Don’t let the wealth of people fool you.
Define rich. Was he rich with good friends and a support network? Was he rich with internal peace and mindfulness? Was he rich with wisdom and patience?
These things are life preservers when life turns stormy.
His friend committed suicide and he went down a black hole. Money wouldn’t fix that. Asking for help might have saved him. Knowing how to grieve might have saved him.
I have to disagree with most of you, depression for the most part is tied to financial problems and the way of living. If you can hit a huge jackpot in the lottery I can guarantee you that your depression will subside and you will be a lot happier and have more friends. Unfortunately money does solve a lot of problems, people will disagree but it’s true

We don’t know the full story, too.
Addendum: see Black Holez comment.
