I regret having told my dad about my depression because now I’m really anxious all the time and feel like I’m letting him down if I don’t fake that I’m happy. Also I spend most time alone in my bedroom but he told me not to so now I feel naked without that safety. And of course telling him didn’t help. I should have just kept my mouth shut. Stupid extra thought: I daydream like obsessively about different situations-having a friend, etc, and recently I’ve daydreamed about having a service/emotional support dog so that it could come with me everywhere and comfort me when I’m depressed/anxious. I think I daydream too much but it’s better than reality. Does anyone else daydream a lot?

You’re daydreaming about something positive. You will get that dog you want. I was just reading about creation.
“Whatever you can imagine already exists! It doesn’t matter what it is, if you can imagine it, it already exists in creation.”
That’s powerful. So keep daydreaming about positive things you want. I was really into a celebrity, I felt love in my heart for him day and night. Guess what? I ended up meeting him. You can speak things into existence. Use it for good as much as you can.

Right. It’s frustrating.
I have had some very unlikely daydreams come true. I would take a part (unwittingly) in those dreams coming true and then, well, they did happen.
Can you get a dog at the pound? That’s what I did and she is the reason I’m alive. If you need certification for air travel and stuff You can enroll any dog in classes, it doesn’t have to come from a special organization. Either way I think a therapy/anxiety dog is a great idea. Mine can sense when I’m about to lose it and she puts her head in my lap. No training, I think dogs are natural empaths
I daydream about everything … having good friends that I feel I can open up to, having my first relationship, getting the best grades, not laying around in my dorm all the time. I think it’s dangerous sometimes, because when I come back to reality, it’s tough to face.
Also, I would absolutely love to have a puppy. I hope you get one! 🙂
I wish my daydreams came true 🙂 but my dad’s allergic to literally every dog. Otherwise I would love to get one registered. And birdy I completely understand! I daydream about all of those things and I agree that sometimes it’s dangerous. Thanks and maybe you can get one too :-).
The dog I would love love love to have is a German shepherd how about you?
I’ve got two pups, brothers, they’re are a handful, well maybe about 50 handfuls, but I adore them.
I think there is some breeds that people with dog allergies can have around them? Something to do with the hairs I’m not sure.
Just remember something like that being the case I could be entirely wrong.
My dogs are really important to me, they are the reason I didn’t go through with a second attempt at suicide.
I wish you can get a dog if not now at least in the future, they are the best to share your life with.
