A kid on my street hung himself in the park next to my house 20 minutes before I walked through it. I didn’t even know he lived in that house. Now I stare at that bar above the swing set every time I go in. A man walking his dog found him there. That man will be affected by that the rest of his life.
Do you guys ever think about the people who have nothing to do with you now, getting to know you once it’s over? Like maybe the paramedics? Or ME? Maybe someone who hears what happened to you and it affects them in some way even though they never knew you? The one who finds you. You’re going to be linked with people forever. They’ll remember you. You’ll influence them. But you’ll never know them.

If only life was rainbows for everyone 🙂
Ya know the hardest part about being suicidal is actually committing the act of suicide that is why I think a lot of us are on this site.
Uhh…..for me there is nothing else to do…. hahah… nowhere to go, nothing to go there for.
I spend each day looking for something to live for and I never find anything.
Just more of what makes me want to die.
Ya know, if only I was one of those people who could just grab a gun and kill myself without thinking of consequence then I would do it.
But I’m so scared here.
I like the idea of a paramedic finding me. I don’t think I would feel any guilt if that happened. Paramedics sign up for that kind of work, and when they pile into their ambulance at the beginning of their shift I could only imagine that they’re not only anticipating death, but how many deaths.
Now what impression you make on the paramedic is your choice. Are you going to leave them a mess, or perhaps a cold purple face with blue lips.
Perhaps paramedics should take a survey, and vote on the most pleasant corpse one could come across. I mean they would know right?
Oh shit, my tired logic forgot, someone has to find you before the paramedic does. Shucks paramedics don’t just go trotting around sniffin’ out ole dead fellas.
I mean since a paramedic can’t just stumble upon you, I suppose it would be best for an elderly person to find you, considering they’re the closest to death anyway. Besides not to mention it’s highly likely they’ve seen another dead body in a recent funeral, I would imagine with all their deathly experiences they’ve muddled through in their life it would just be a cliff note, hardly a fleeting thought.
