Do you feel like you are always a day late and a dollar short in life? I do. I used to enjoy video games before my world crashed down on my head…again. Even when I played I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. I could be in a crowd of people but somehow I would be the one that got killed by the camping asshole sniper on the hill. Having this problem on occasion is normal. Having this problem everyday of my life is some kind of sick joke.
Allow me to give you my example of the day. My neighborhood is going to shit. I’ve been looking for a house in my old home town for months. An amazing house popped up this morning. I was supposed to see it Thursday. It was just sold this afternoon. God sure seems to have a sick fucking sense of humor. So I go on. Disappointment seems to be my only companion these days. Surely, even a broken clock is right twice a day…my clock is broken at 25:80 o’clock.
So again I wait. Sitting in my house because I’m afraid to go out and find some freak or another loitering in my yard. My grandfather used to grow his vegetable garden there once. Now it’s just dead grass and human garbage. I guess it serves me right for wearing blinders for so long. Lesson learned…too little…too late. So allow me to be your harbinger of sorrow my friends…pay attention to your surroundings! Be it the neighborhood you live in or the person that sleeps next to you at night. Pay attention. Take off the blinders. Stop ignoring the signs of a problem. That’s what I did and now I’m trapped. You don’t want to be me…and neither do I.

Keep looking and do not give up. You didn’t get that house because God has a better one waiting for you.
My dad went through the exact same thing! He kept looking for a house and it would get sold quickly. He finally found the perfect place! It was even better than all the ones he previously wanted. Keep searching. 🙂
Thank you so much Broken! That’s twice you made me feel better today…I owe you one…or two 🙂
Just knowing I made you feel better is good enough!
