One of the three things that this forum really tries to prevent is discussing or seeking methods (the other two being hate speech and looking for suicide partners). Respecting that, the method doesn’t matter so much, given that it is effective and doesn’t harm anyone else. Methods that can be absolutely discounted are suicide by car, cop, or train. Not only are all three unreliable with high potential for survival with crippling injury, but all three leave someone else either with a lifetime of guilt or severe injury themselves. The human body is frustratingly resilient. There’s a bitter irony in the sheer amount of effort required to simply survive day by day, and the difficulty of dying.
