It’s so quiet here lately. Site seems to have changed too, since there isn’t a running comments area any longer. Makes it harder to follow threads.

Yeah, they changed that a few months ago. It seems to keep comments more story focused these days. The huge number of comments that built up under some stories when users got into lively interaction with one another seems to be a thing of the past.
I can see why the mods would want that. There were nights when this site was more a chat room than a support board, it got really clickish too, like middleschool Except SAF middle school.
I find myself much more focused on OP’s these days myself as opposed to the plentiful social life that used to unfold under the stories. It is a lot more head scratching to comment usefully (or at least try to) to an OP than to share a quick giggle or jab way off topic with a fellow user, though it still happens of course.
I’ve just subscribed to all the threads I’ve commented on. Few extra steps. If I had a gun to my head tonight it wouldn’t have helped…..those extra steps.

They have redesigned the site. I’m not sure if I like the changes but they are what they are.
