When I was little we would go out to the lake on my grandparents boat. When even just a little bit of water would puddle in the bottom my brother and I would start panicking that it was sinking and the adults would laugh and tell us not to worry. One day, the boat was parked at the dock and to no ones knowledge the waves were hitting it wrong. The adults asked us to go check on it, this time there was more than a little water in it and we ran to tell them it was sinking. The adults didn’t believe us to be sure. They took their time coming to save the boat we were so frantic about. When they finally got there the boat was completely full and mostly underwater. The adults had the gall to reprimand us for not telling them the boat was sinking. Hahahaha. Well, we tried to tell them.
Anyways, sometimes I feel like I’m that boat and no one that can help really believes I’m sinking, when they do it will be too late.
It’s like my previous post, they say they understand but what they expect is happening is not the reality because the comparisons are wrong.

Lol speedboat… Paddleboat? I’m curious.
It was like a fish and ski boat, maybe like a little speed boat, not terribly big, it didn’t sit way out of the water, had an outboard motor, and was a metallic red. I wish I could remember what kind it was exactly. Lol.
What a wonderful explanation. That is what it feels like.
