NOT SUICIDE but still important
The spiders are coming back.
For the last two or three years, there have been these really awful spiders in my house, and they terrify me. Last year, I got crawled on multiple times, and I’ve gotten in trouble for the way I react/try to get rid of them.
I used fixatif once, and I’ve broken furniture, and I got so paranoid. They don’t like the light, so I started sleeping with my lights on. That was way too bright for me, though, so I started waiting for the sun to come up before I even layed down. I spent the entire summer being completely nocturnal, and even then I wasn’t getting enough sleep, and I started seeing things. It wasn’t healthy.
Now they’ve popped up twice, and it’s 3:55 in the morning on a school night, and I’m doing it again. I’m a college student! I can’t do this again! Especially not DURING the school year! I’m already anxious enough as it is, and my depression has come back a bit stronger these last few months.
I’m going to try cleaning my room tomorrow, but I need help. Please.
What do I do???

Oh shit, I know how you feel. I personally don’t have a spider problem, but a bug problem. The bugs are freaking EVERYWHERE And my mum wont let me get bug spray. I personally don’t know how to get rid of spiders, but there must be some sort of spray for it, right? I think… I could be wrong
I researched a little and I found a link (I hope it helps!!):

I commented but apparently my comment is “waiting approval” so…
hopefully it should be “approved soon”.
Try dusting and vacuuming everywhere at least once a week, plus some scents repel spiders naturally (white vinegar, lemon, etc, google it up). I know there’s some commercial repellents that you can spray (and they seem to work) but i’ve never tried them. I often get spiders around this time of the year too so yeah, i get what you’re saying. i was gonna mention the scariest “story” i have but… yeah, better not, don’t want to make you even more anxious, lol.
Mf has good advice, dusting and cleaning is the quickest way to make spiders go elsewhere. Think of it logically… what attracts spiders or any bugs? Food sources. For spiders food=other tiny bugs. So by keeping the place clean there’s no reason for spiders to come around. If it’s a dire emergency I think vinegar is a great safe & natural repellant. Don’t waste your money and choke yourself on insecticides. Vinegar is dirt cheap and actually a good cleaning agent. Good luck!
Have you called any professional exterminators? I don’t know what they have to offer, but with the many organic pest control methods on the market now, they might have some good advice. Just an idea.
I have brown recluse spiders in my room WAY too often, but your situation sounds way worse. vacuum the shit out of EVERYTHING, check the corners of the house and seal up any cracks (temporary with tape or actually seal it with silicone or something)
Holy — what’s worse than brown recluse?
many spiders are worse than a brown recluse. and the thing about brown recluse bites is that the bite itself isn’t what has the potential to kill you, it’s how easily it can get infected. so as long as you get it treated asap you’re fine
i has like 50 spids in my flat they keep other nastys away me likey them just webs get annoying or when they dangle above your head when you sleep….pretty sure i’ve eaten some… woke up with 1 going in my mouth hahaha…used to collect them as kid 😉
This scares me. lol. I’m glad you like them though. O.o
