Ok, so apparently you can push someone off a bridge, say “oops, sorry” and get just TWO days in jail.
Meanwhile the girl who got pushed broke 6 ribs and a punctured lung.
The story is insane.

So they made it seem like the judge was being all stern for sentencing the girl to TWO days in jail when that is just absolutely nothing.
TWO days for pushing a “friend” off a bridge. Meanwhile, this girl Grace gets jailed for 78d for not doing her online homework. Yep, makes sense to me ‘Murica!
“Grace, a 16-year-old in Michigan who was incarcerated after not doing her online schoolwork is now released and fighting to make her story heard, ProPublica reports. After serving a 78-day sentence at Children’s Village in Oakland County, Grace was released after the Michigan Court of Appeals ordered her release. Nov 3, 2020”
“After Taylor pushed her, she did not rush down to see if Jordan was OK, she left the scene,” Genelle Holgerson said. “She did not show up at the hospital to check on Jordan. She did not stop by our home to see if she was OK or in any other way act like a friend.”
“I never asked Taylor to push me,” she told TODAY. “Taylor was definitely lying in her interview yesterday because I can’t imagine asking Taylor to push me off a bridge.”
