Being a good person and having a heart => YOU’RE FIRED!
Being a douchebag that treats your thousands of employees like crap => congrats, you’re the best CEO ever, and here’s your $100M annual compensation package!
’tis life in ‘murica….. -_-
And…you wonder why I am jaded and hate this stupid shitty selfish messed up world?

Oh, I have a lot of feelings about this one, oh so many. Just the disposable attitude is getting much worse…. and that’s why I’m dropping out, that’s my core gripe; if you can replace me, great, let me try and figure out how to live without you. Never met the employer that would.
But that lady is in deep burnout, at least from an HR perspective. You’re supposed to be detached. That is not the culture they are about at that bank. This is a bank where poor people starve MISSY. You take your things and leave.
Sure, gotten the speach myself.
No good deed goes unpunished was the excuse for why we have to be mean to food stamp applicants….. If you let them get too dependent then that’s bad…..
So I spent all day with the denial stamp in hand, figuratively. I finally thought I had a nice family, mom works at a nursery with plants and we BONDED…… but over income by the narrowest margin…. which means they’re barely making it. I think she started to cry.
It’s nice when I get to help people but some days all I give is bad news. I also see a lot of paychecks, and people are not doing well. The pay per hour is absurd, despite year over year growth in productivity for my whole lifetime my salary is stagnant.
I know, I know, only been there a few months……. you’ve got to be watchful for bad companies when your body still works, because that’s a finite thing.
