Cyanide though is not always that fast, I don’t know what the husband did to make it work that fast, but it doesn’t always work that fast. I guess it must have been the energy drink, you could probably get a lot of stuff in an energy drink to make cyanide really kick into high gear.
I’ve heard about people taking hours to die from cyanide poisoning. If you get the dose wrong, it can be a really slow and miserable way to go. I mean, poisoning is usually a slow and miserable way to go.
People have died just on energy drinks alone.
ppl who poison others generally want them to suffer. They don’t usually die quick.

Well, cyanide anyway I do know more than a bit because it’s used so often in real life, but also in the movies and shows I watch that are pretty well researched. Favorite poison of the Nazis to use on themselves to escape capture, but you don’t see a lot of people slip it in a drink, the last show I saw it used in was Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix and that was in a bottle of alcohol.
Well, I think I saw it used in an episode of Father Brown where some candies were laced with cyanide. However used in a modern context is a new one, most modern killers go for the rat poison or something more mundane like something that the person in question is allergic to.
Oh, one of my new favorites is gassing people with nitrous oxide, the stuff they use to knock people out for dental procedures. Apparently it’s a drug craze called “Galaxy Gas” and people are doing it to themselves, truly an awful way to die, but an assassin could go that way if they wanted to. “Let’s get high” they’d lure in their victim and send them to the land of nod forever.
Isolation is the real killer, if you don’t have someone to pull you back out of that particular high, you keep inhaling the gas and it kills you. Breath deep of the killer gas and it’ll send you into the sweet grip of death. It’s tricky though, the canisters are explosive, like I said an assassin would be the most effective way to get the job done. The person inhaling wouldn’t be awake anymore so someone would have to keep the gas flowing.

Not something I’d ever do, anything the guy discusses on this show is pretty much the worst idea to put into your body, but it’s interesting to know about how people are killing themselves.
