Today I was asked one good thing about myself… the only thing I could think of was my scars. I hate that I can’t find a single good thing about myself besides my self mutilation.
I ask the same question everyday, and haven’t had any more luck finding an answer than you. I’m still here though, so I guess thats something. I like to think that at least one person would be a little upset if either one of us offed ourselves.
You’re good at writing 🙂
Looking through you’re posts, you’re very capable of written english.
You’re also very easy to relate to.
You have some sort of charm that comes through when you write.
You’re words are charming 🙂
You’re insightful and perceptive.
You’re name is forever dancing, so I would assume that you dance… Do you enjoy dance?
As one_day said… You’re not egotistical, prideful or arrogant.
You’re worth something to me 🙂
I love your posts and you’re important to the people here on this site because of how relatable you are. You help people by helping them realize they aren’t alone.
You aren’t alone Foreverdancing26.
It’s hard for me to think of positive things about myself. Sometimes it helps to have someone else point out some things for you.
I tried this excersise once. It’s bedn helping me…So maybe it will help you 🙂
Write down all the positive things in you’re life. All of them, even the tiniest things.
Write them all down and think about them for as long as you can. Take time throughout the day to memorize them and use them as a kind of mantra throughout you’re life. Write more down as the time goes on. Whenever you’re feeling down, sit down for a bit and instead of focusing on what’s wrong, focus on the good things in life.
Sometimes it can be overwhelming to think of a solution to the problem you’re facing… And it seems impossible, you just have to remember that there are still good things… And life is never 100% bad.
@AscahIsBroken I enjoy dance more than words can say. Dance is everything to me. & what you said was the kindest thing I’ve ever read, and I’m not sure you’ll ever understand how much it means to me, but thank you. <3
I think one of the symptoms of depression is that you end up having a very negative view of yourself. It’s easy to focus on our weaknesses. I wish I were a couple of inches taller and more muscular, but I have accepted the strengths and weaknesses that God has given me and make the most of my situation. I don’t like to brag about myself, but I can sing, play numerous instruments and I’m great at fixing things around the house. I’m not a good dancer though and that is one thing I would definitely like to improve on.

@Onlylonely I would be upset if you were gone, and being here is the biggest achievement especially for people like us.

You’re a good singer and dancer too I think. 🙂
@Dave_N thank you, how did you know I sing??
I can’t find anything good about myself either, I’m just pretty stupid sometimes 😛
@Pum I don’t think you’re stupid at all.
