To me, the end of the world has been a very real thing for most of my life. I am almost surprised at everyday I wake up and the world itself hasn’t fallen into a black hole, or been blown up by humans, or taken over by aliens.
It’s gonna happen eventually…when and how is the real question!
I’ve been waiting for so long, everyday just wanting to see the end for myself. I want my normal work day to be shaken by world wide news of fire falling from the sky. I’m just waiting to feel the ground quake for the final time, for the masses of creatures to panic across the land.
Where will I be when it goes down? How far from loved ones will I be? Will we be compelled to run, or stand our ground? What decisions will I make for myself and my family? Will I be forced to abandon them and fight for my own survival? Will they be able to keep up and hold strong like me? Or will I be helpless to do anything at all?
For me the thought of being a witness to the end has always won over the thought of suicide. Its exciting to me, and would bring one final epic adventure before the lights go out. Will I be thankful to witness the end, like I’ve wanted for so long? Or will I shit myself at the site of the destruction?

I picture myself in a sort of “cloverfield” scenario where I have to travel miles on foot to get to my wife, not knowing the whole time if she’s ok or not. That’s probly most likely what will happen, or she will be at school which is just as bad. Cars will be useless in the panic. As adventurous as that would be, I kinda hope to just be at home holding my girl already when the last horn blows!
Well, obviously the sun will continue to expand until it engulfs the Earth’s orbit, but that’ll be billions of years into the future. Humans will more than likely be long extinct by that time. Our availability to weapons of mass destruction with have a collective capability to destroy the over numerous times and our belligerent, vindictive nature suggests that we’ll likely wipe our selves from the Earth ourselves long before any geographical or astrological threats dare to endanger us.
I don’t plan on living for another year, so the end of the world is the least of my concerns. I am very confident I won’t be around to see it, and grateful for that actually.
If I was alive when the world ended, I think I would fascinated if anything. Rapid change would occur and widespread panic would ensue. I have no care for my own safety, but I’d like to see how many other people react to their inevitable fates which would then present themselves to them blatantly. I’d love to see the politicians and bourgeoisie realize that their wealth and status is as useless to them as it truly is in ‘reality’. In a world where only the literal fit will survive, all their entitlement will be crushed and that would be the most satisfying, thrilling thing to me. The politicians which encourage and initiate wars never have to worry about their family coming home in body bags, they have absolutely no clue what it means to be on the front line and to give their lives up. If the world were ending they would realize what death truly means and how death is so much more personal than a statistic.
If the world were ending I would assume an anarchy would arise out of anger from the government’s refusal to protect its citizens. Lets be honest, the people in power would much sooner protect their own lives and their families lives than care for the lives of others. Their condoning of such atrocities would result in rage from its citizens and a rebellion would likely ensue, or at least what I’d like to believe. I don’t actually believe anarchy would be as feral and violent as portrayed by the media, but I do think that people would readily steal from each other, just not mindlessly murder each other. People would hoard resources and likely care for only their own survival and maybe their families. I on the other hand would just like to “See the world burn”. It’d be amusing to see how evil our species would become after the decimation of morals.
But I don’t think the world will end any time soon, but I guess nuclear warfare is synonymous to that. Radiation would kill many, spread around the world, destroy livestock and crops and wipe out our whole civilization along with the physical destruction a global war would create.
Until humans can learn to live in solidarity, the answer to the question of our demise rests solely on our shoulders.
I hate the thought of it. WW3 is a very real and approaching catalyst for the enforcement of a one world government. It will be used to wipe out a substantial amount of human life all around the world. Russia and china are at high tensions with the USA and Britain over Syria. If you pay attention to what is happening its being set up to where the US decides to use military intervention which Russia and China have warned will cause war….both sides will use nuclear and biological weapons against each other and I don’t think its limited to military personnel after WW2.
I believe WW3 will intentionally cause economies around the world to collapse while engaged in war leaving countries and regions devastated. I don’t want to be here to witness any of it. TPTB are making sure things go according to their plans to gain total and absolute control. I feel like if you aren’t a “prepper” then you should be in fear of what is to come. You have to realize even if you live in a country that is considered a “super power” ….Nuclear bombs have no eyes…..it is even more frightening to know that Russia… not the US or its allies…possess the strongest nuclear weapons. The end of modern society will not come without death destruction and the loss of all boundaries by people. People will kill you for food water and any thing you have that will benefit them….once the groceries stores and supply chains run out of things people WILL lose their minds…. nothing will be “off limits” or “inhumane” once all hell breaks loose….
How do you think people will react once they run out of food and the electricity is cut off along with the police no longer enforcing regular law but martial law? People will go nuts and many of them will be killed within the first few months of collapse. Its why the government is preparing and doing all this weird shit. Buying absurd amounts of hollow point bullets and building FEMA camps and bunkers is no coincidence. Passing tyrannical laws and stripping you of your rights is a step in the plan. They know what is coming because they are pulling the strings to make it happen…all while inflation is making it harder and harder to survive let alone prepare for anything. IF the dollar collapsed tomorrow how many of us have a plan? I don’t….well I do but it’s not a plan for survival its a plan for escape. People go about their daily lives and have no clue that the end is coming….maybe not the end of the world but the end of modern society….Politicians and high society have been advocating for a One world Government for a long time….and I would bet my life that it will come to fruition within the next 10 to 20 years and most likely it probably won’t even be that long…. I really don’t care because I don’t plan on being here to witness it…. While I’m here it does occupy my thoughts at times but if it doesn’t happen in the next 3 to 4 months then I don’t give a fuck.

A One World Government isn’t possible in this global society, each leader of each country would want to assume absolute power. After a nuclear warfare the surviving republics would likely work out a single government type of bureaucracy. The only type of One World Government which would not be a totalitarian tyrannical dictatorship would be one established by the people. The people have more power than they realize, it’s just an indoctrination imposed on them that this is the only way a society can function. There will be a phase of violence and devastation I have no doubt about it, but I am hopeful that common sense will prevail and that the realization that the people must come together to rebel and support a revolution movement that is needed for the human race to continue as a species.
Only great destruction will open the eyes of the masses. Only through great strife and seeing betrayal, violence and massacre will people realize that unity is the only way to create a successful government establishment. Humans have a tendency to only realize the consequences of their actions after the task has already been committed, so I have no doubt that there will be a period of complete chaos. But humans do learn and through repeated mistakes we’ll eventually learn how to live with one another and share resources instead of accumulating them and that negotiation is a must when dealing with an opposition.
Ha, have any of you played any of the ‘Fallout’ series games? This is reminding me of the story plot for them, especially Fallout 3 where a nuclear war arises and subsequently the privileged masses are granted the opportunity to live in underground vaults away from the harm of radiation, violence and destruction. Eventually the communities inside the vaults become violent and tyrannical (as most all human communities do eventually) and you as the main character leave the vault to observe the destruction that humans have created and the poverty and savagery which has become an integral part of the ‘new’ world. Maybe something like that will happen, I got a set of really cool power armor and a Drone cannon Ex-B gun. Aw yea. Fallout New Vegas had a really interesting plot as well, which takes place four years after the events of Fallout 3, and 204 years after the ‘Great War of 2077’. The remainder of Las Vegas and its surroundings are divided between factions, and there are three major powers competing for control of the area: The New California Republic (NCR), Caesar’s Legion, and Mr. House. And you get the idea. I won’t go on a tangent of some sci fi video game haha. Prepare yourself for the Armageddon, people ๐

It is my assertion that WW3 is already underway, it’s just a new kind of war, fought more on the economy, financial, infrastructure fronts. Instead of just blatant and direct destruction, the focus is more on the minds of the populous. Subtle subversion and indirect destabilization of opposition, manipulation of resources and population support/control systems, is where it’s at.
They realized that people hate war, and that it takes “the masses” to keep working as cogs to keep the machine grinding out more everything.
This war is being fought on many fronts. But i don’t think it will lead to “the end,” because TPTB know the masses are required for sustaining what they can only own and use while the system remains functional.
Fallout: New Vegas was lacking something I think. Could have been the lack of Liam Neesan that made it feel this way (ha), I just couldn’t get into it. Was a bit shit.
Fallout 3 was much better. Preferred the story line and the characters.
I’d always use Lincoln’s Repeater and stuck to wearing combat armour. Power armour was too heavy and I like to hoard shit to sell.

@SB …At this point I doubt if the people can even do anything to stop it….there have been so many laws passed that it makes it hard to organize any type of revolt…. I recommend watching a documentary called “terms and conditions may apply” its about how our data that we provide online or with communication devices is used against us. I’m sure this site has been observed and all of our IP addresses have been logged and documented in case we are incarcerated for any reason in the future they can go back and see if we made any comments that would help them prosecute us further. They actually use our data to……”prevent”……further crimes…..that’s a scary thought…meaning they can use something you said online and take it out of context and say you were preparing for a crime. People are scared of big government….and what do we have? a big government that is hell bent on observing us to ensure everything goes to plan. TPTB no longer give a fuck about us knowing their plans they only want to make sure we do nothing to interfere. The ONLY thing that will free the people is the abolition of the federal reserve and the outlawing of private banks administering a governments currency…. A revolution would be futile if all we do is revolt against the government because the government is only a pawn. They no longer have control over anything all they do is follow orders.
@clevername… I agree but I think the physical WW3 is imminent. I try to watch a little news to see the steps the USA is taking towards syria and they keep threatening military intervention which will cause war…. The USA has even been flying big B2 bombers over south korea as an “exercise” but really it has been to intimidate north korea and provoke china…. I think there is too much tension and the wrong move by any country will be the trigger for utter destruction

The passing of such oppressive laws are exactly why the people will rebel. The vast majority of a country is a beast when aggregated together. If the government prods it enough the people will realize and strike out. Even better, unlike in states like Nazi Germany the US’s citizens are armed. (Which is why I’m in favor for gun rights. Guns are essential to the defense of the people. I’m not talking particularly against typical transgressors, but the real criminals, the ones who are imposing these laws and who dictate the entirety of the country. I have no faith that this system won’t gradually metamorphose into an oppressive, malicious totalitarian bureaucracy, and if it came to that it would be impossible to rebel against a government that completely possesses and controls modern, lethal weaponry while the people have nothing. The people need guns)
The more corruption that the government enacts the more people will realize how destructive it is and will take action. The government was established to follow the Constitution and abide by the Declaration of Independence. I’ll quote it: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed, รขโฌโ That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government” Abolishing this tyrannical state is being a true patriot ๐
The more people are put in jail for absurd crimes such as ‘suspected terrorism’ (as they’re allowed to apprehend a US citizens indefinitely on US soil as proposed by the ‘NDAA’ bill) the more the people will realize that their government is no longer protecting and serving them, but rather subduing and controlling them. Laws can’t hold back a revolution because a revolution calls for the abolishing of the judicial system entirely, why would it follow orders from a government it no longer has any loyalty to? I have strong hopes, I would love to be apart of a revolution – if I’m going to kill myself anyways, why not stick around and die as a martyr or for a viable cause? In the meantime, I’ll be waiting patiently for the system to fall apart, it’s obvious it is. The economy is in shambles and has almost no hope of recovering, the rich are accumulating mass amounts of wealth why the middle class and lower class become poorer, ridiculous laws are being approved, this system is held together by threads. Soon it will fall apart and when it does, a new system will be rebuilt in its place. The only type of government that would work is one that does not control the country but rather regulates it. The people must be in control of the country. Any other type is bound to relapse into the system we have now. The only government that can survive is one in which the people are united and no longer separated by economic class, or political stances. There’s only one system that will work, and you know what I’m implying. It’s the future, and it’s inevitable. Maybe not in my life time, but it will eventually become reality because that’s the only government that can function justly and in the name of the people. It’s the only one that can survive.
@SB …I don’t think they will….fear is a powerful thing….some people will stand up and when they are railroaded by the USA it will stamp out the spirit of revolution in others. They can now legally detain any american citizen without a trial indefinitely for being a “suspected” terrorist….so that applies to just about anybody they consider a terrorist…. Me…you ….the old lady down the street it doesn’t matter…..do you remember how the Boston police went from door to door searching peoples homes without a warrant all on the basis of finding the supposed perpetrator of the bombings? Or how the California police were openly shooting people they thought were Chris Dorner? ….these incidents show the police are getting more aggressive and disregarding peoples rights. People know our Gov’t is corrupt but speaking out will not do anything because they have the power. They also have instilled fear in many Americans…..look at how they have criminalized Eric Snowden as if he had told the american people something they didn’t already know….It had been in the news multiple times before he leaked documents that the government was spying on us….yet they railroaded him to stamp out the courage others may have in the future…. The government is a problem but its not the cause of the problem….The federal reserve needs to be destroyed…. That is the primary tool of control that TPTB use to get their way….until we eliminate that they will have power regardless of what we do with the government
