I am not a bad person because I fear going to prison mostly….. prison life sucks.
if I had a stay out of prison pass shit Id go do certain things.
I also am not a bad person because I believe in Karma that the bad you do will come back to you in some way maybe in this life maybe in the life to come.
We are more then the sum of our parts, to identify ourselves with one quality, one experience, one choice is to ‘sin’ a English archery term meaning to miss the mark, to miss our potential, our becoming.
What is experienced as good one moment can be experienced as bad the next. What is experienced as good to me may be experienced as bad for you and then vice versa.
So what is Good and Bad
Measurement of the good and bad does not exist in nature. Measurement is man’s domain and its important to distinguish between the laws we create and our sense of self. If we fail to live up to our expectations or the expectations of others then maybe we feel bad about ourselves but that does not make us bad.
There are those who “Obey the laws” because of a fear of punishment or hope for a better life after life. But this misses the mark.

I must be partly bad. But we (mostly) all like to believe that the way we do things is the right way.
Why are you not bad quaero?

Uptown234 says if it were not for the law or Karma he would ‘do certain things’
He assumes he can change his nature and nurture.
Karma is a interesting concept that does not recognize any difference between the subjective or objective, the deed or the thought.
