When you have so high, vivid imaginations that your Dream-world is always 1,000x much more interesting & lively than this so called Real-world,
then you know how ‘torturing‘ and like a ‘curse‘ for you to live in this boring, dull, drag, and often full of BS Real-world…!

God do I ever know. My dreams feel 3000x more real to me than the waking world. I sometimes wonder if the dream world is the “real” world and the waking world is the “dream”.
Things just seem so more intense, emotional and real in dreams. I feel more alive in my dreams than in waking life. It’s been this way since I was a child. The waking world feels so… fake.

I live in a constant dream-state. I'm always daydreaming, I just wish I could draw everything I imagine with the same clarity as it appears in my head. 🙁
I gotta improve as an artist. I want to make the magical fantasy land that lives in my head as close to reality as i can.
Man, I wish I knew how to make video games or flash movies.

I actually wish I’m working as a neurologist or parapsychologist to investigate more on the nature of Dreams… but fuck, I’m stuck here instead in a boring, dull family & country that emphasizes the fucking money & profits above anything else. Just shoot me please.
@Xia: yeah, this is why Paprika is among one of my best favorite anime.
I think the last year’s Best movie Inception, have stolen some ideas from this anime (as evident from that ‘shattered invisible glass’ scene at the beginning of the trailer above).

can you make it as a full-time artist, or still part-time (due to the Money system we’re living in) ?
I myself am a musician/composer/songwriter.
But it’s always depressing me of how the world & majority of people these days seem to prefer the auto-tuned teen idols that can’t sing but only looks cute with crappy music. popular music nowadays is so fucked-up, it’s all also about money and politics. I hate this real world. it’s like I want to shoot all the Elites…but too bad I’m not a Superman. I’m just niki.
and yes! I often also wish I can work on creating video-games department! it’s in fact one of my dreams.
but in this fucking so-called Reality, I don’t know if it’s actually possible and attainable…
everything needs tremendous efforts, and even luck,

I’m in college trying to learn how to be a better artist. I might be able to earn some money off of things I do, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to make a living off of it. Well not right now anyway. I have a dream to just make stuff for a living. I like arts and crafts kinda stuff, so hey, why the fuck not? It’s better do live doing what you love than live doing something you hate everyday, right? But then again, if you hate living that’s a whole different situation :p
But yeah, I agree with the whole teen idol thing. I call bullshit on that one. The kids of today have role modals that “try” to teach them good values, but they come off as stuck up whores and dumbasses. Also, literature has gone down the drain. My friend says that vampire books like to reappear on shelves every 5 years or so, and she seems to be right. But Twilight? Dear god, if that’s what this generation of literature will be known for we are DOOMED to be idiots forever :/ It’s hard enough to get kids to read books these days, but now we have to try to get them to read GOOD books. I swear, if I’m able to write out this crappy vampire novel that’s been floating about in my head and get it published, I want to see how much people will pay for something like that. It’s basically girl meets vampire, both fall in love (if i give a shit enough to write that eventually), or they both just have a love hate relationship. And there’s gonna be a vampire hunter, and an evil vampire, and at the end everyone dies except the vampire hunter cause idk why. He just doesn’t. …Maybe I shouldn’t try writing books…. :/
also, how many of you here also have heard about: Virtual Reality (VR) , Lucid Dreaming , Astral Projection ?
I really wish/hope those things are true … so I can enter into the world/universe of IMAGINATION, .. & bye bye boring, mundane, harsh, & limited Reality ! )
