Learning to forget things is hard I’m still try to figure it out myself the one thing you have to keep in mind is its in the past . Sometimes it’s best to talk to someone about the things you can’t let go maybe a friend a person on here or even venting on here might help. I hope I helped -liv
Sometimes I feel like I can forget about something and move on by talking about it or writing about it and venting, it takes a lot of weight off of the shoulders.
The only way to forget something is to do other productive things to make you feel good. For instance, you fall in love, break up and your heart broken.. really hard to forget that right? But when another guy comes along, you fall in love again and forget all about that past love haha
If you talk about the past or problems that can’t be changed.. it’s called dwelling.. and from my experience it never helps.. it just feeds the depression.. your mind wants to change the mistake soo bad.. as if it can manipulate time.. but nothing good comes out of it… sometimes lol sometimes it helps to prevent the same mistake in the future.. but I seem to make the same mistake year afterm year.. destined for hell

I think it like an acceptance, forgiveness thing.
