That’s actually really cool. Cone to think of it, it’s nice seeing these little snippets of peoples talents or hobbies. It makes them seem more, I don’t know, real, perhaps? More than just swallowed by their demons. There’s a connection to it, which I think is especially helpful for a site like this.
Thank you.
I like it a lot. You have a nice composition there. I like the fallen tree > it breaks up the picture plane and makes it more interesting to look at then if the fallen tree wasn’t there. I also like the pose of the wolf character. I feel like I just walked around the corner and caught the wolf off guard and its turning its head to look back at me. I like the hair on its back just behind the wolfs head. looks very real. I also like the colors you chose for the wolf. Its a warm color and that is in contrast to the rest of the picture that is more bland and colder colors. The mountains are nicely done and I like the clouds. The clouds are nice because they are not overdone. Just enough. The spots on the tree are nice. They become little dabs to catch you eye > that makes the tree more interesting to look at then if the trees were all one solid color. I bet it took a lot of time to do all those little dabs on the tree but they work well > and it gives the trees a textured feel to them. Your picture also has a lot of depth…. you created that dept by color and buy creating a foreground (the rocks and snow) the middle ground ( the deep grey/blue and the fallen tree, and then a background that is in the distance (the mountains sky and clouds)
so you actually have a lot of depth to you work. Very cool indeed.
I also like it because its a nature seen. Good work!!
I must say I like it a lot. But I like it even more after reading Phatomcitizen43’s detailed observations.
Show is more of this in the future. And thank you 🙂
You know what I like about your artwork? The facial expression of the being you include. They always have this curious look of surprise on their faces, like they were caught doing something that, although perfectly legal, they’d rather not have you seeing. That is a hard thing to do, convey subtle emotion in that way. It really is about body gesture and placement in the scenery.
Wow Hazy, thanks for that kind of compliment. I really do appreciate it. <3
I've lived with animals my entire life (dogs in particular) and I've always paid really close attention to their expressions and body language. I speak fluent dog, (but apparently that isn't enough to get a seal of bilingualism on my diploma, so now I'm in AP Latin. Eh, what can ya' do?) and I'm so, so glad that what I was trying to communicate came through.

I plan to, thanks! 🙂
I really love it. I can almost feel the cold.
Thanks, muspelhem, I’m very glad. I’ve never done a winter scene before.
Love it!!!
Thanks, Hazy!
Wow…… May I print it out and put it on the Fridge?
Haha, go right ahead. 🙂

That’s amazing!! Most artistic thing I can do is draw a stick man lol. Love the detail of the face, keep up the good work
