1. Internet (and places with free WiFi)
2. R.E.M. (especially Mike the bass player.)
3. Hot spicy things. HOT. The hotter the better. I’ve eaten Habaneros and Ghost peppers raw. They’re delicious, then they hurt like hell, then you think you’re about to die, then the endorphins kick in and your head rushes and you laugh and this peaceful whooshing starts flowing. I sometimes wonder if actual death is like that.
Are we talking about things I am addicted to or things I can’t bear to live without? Then there is the middle of the Venn diagram where they intersect.
Intersection:
1) Music (addicted and can’t live without)
Addicted:
1) caffeine
Can’t bear to live without:
1) My garden
2) Hulu, Netflix and YouTube
3) The internet (which includes but is not limited to my kindle, laptop and smart phone.)
